A sincere thank you to Dr. Cheryl Wozniak, PUSD’s Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Administrative Assistant Mary Leon, and the Principals of each school for their collaboration in reviewing grant applications and administering of the grants.
To support the continuation of high quality art programs in our schools, please consider making a donation to PAINTS at www.piedmontstore.com and celebrating arts in our schools at PAINTS’ annual fundraiser, “The Big Art Party”, on March 10 and “The Big Art Show” from March 2-11 at Piedmont Center for the Arts.
The Big Art Show will feature Piedmont’s community of artists. PAINTS encourages artists with original 2D and 3D artwork to apply. A Call for Art is open now through February 9 at www.piedmontpaints.org. Half of the proceeds for art sales will go directly to support art education at PUSD and the other half to the artist. There will also be a separate “Call for Kids’ Art” through the elementary schools. PAINTS is excited to bring the local art community together in supporting art education
